South East Queensland Local History
Located in the northeast region of Australia, Queensland is the second largest state of the country. It is also known as "The Sunshine State." South East Queensland, one of the regions of Queensland, includes the capital city of Brisbane and the surrounding areas. South East Queensland is also home to the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.
